Booking Terms

These are the terms between you (the customer booking a transfer) and King's Travel Sheffield (the driver). They apply to every booking made through this website. Please read before confirming.
1. Who you're contracting with
Your transport contract is with King's Travel Sheffield, a UK-licensed driver/operator based in Sheffield . The booking platform (FlightDeck) facilitates the booking and payment but is not the operator and does not carry passengers.
2. Making a booking
A booking is confirmed once you receive a confirmation email with a booking reference. For card payments, the booking is confirmed when payment is successfully received by King's Travel Sheffield via Stripe. For cash bookings, you agree to pay the quoted price to the driver on the day, in pounds sterling.
3. Prices and what's included
Prices shown are the all-in price for the route, vehicle, and passenger count you selected. They include reasonable wait time at the pickup point. Additional charges may apply for: extra waiting time beyond 15 minutes at pickup (or 30 minutes at an airport for a delayed flight), additional drop-off stops not specified at booking, extreme soiling of the vehicle, and any tolls or congestion charges not included in the quote.
4. Changes and cancellations by you
You can cancel a booking for free up to 72 hours before the pickup time via the link in your confirmation email. Card payments are refunded in full to the original card within 5–10 business days (the platform fee is included in the refund). Cash bookings simply release the slot.
Inside 72 hours of pickup, please call the driver directly on 07720402785 — late cancellations are at the driver's discretion and may not be refundable. No-shows (passenger not at the pickup point after reasonable wait) are not refundable.
5. Changes by the driver
In rare cases the driver may need to change the assigned vehicle (e.g. mechanical issue) or arrange a substitute driver of equivalent standard. You will be contacted in advance where possible. If the driver cannot fulfil the booking at all, you'll be offered a full refund.
6. On the day
- Please be ready at the pickup point at the booked time. Reasonable wait (15 min) is included.
- For airport pickups, the driver tracks the flight where a flight number was provided and adjusts arrival time. Please share flight number changes ASAP.
- Smoking, vaping, and consumption of food or alcohol in the vehicle are not permitted unless agreed in advance.
- Child seats are not provided by default — please request when booking.
- Passengers must wear seat belts; the driver may refuse to set off if anyone refuses.
7. Luggage
The luggage allowance you selected at booking determines the vehicle assigned. Excess luggage may not fit and could cause delay or refusal at the driver's discretion. The driver takes reasonable care of luggage during the journey; valuables should be carried with you.
8. Lost property
If you leave something in the vehicle, please contact the driver at bookings@kingstravelsheffield.com as soon as possible. The driver will make reasonable efforts to return it (delivery may be charged at a fair rate for distance and time).
9. Driver liability
King's Travel Sheffield carries hire-and-reward insurance covering passengers and luggage during the journey. Liability for indirect or consequential losses (missed flights due to extraneous delays, missed meetings, etc.) is excluded except where caused by the driver's negligence and only to the extent allowed by UK consumer law. Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights as a consumer.
10. Card payment disputes (chargebacks)
If you have an issue with a journey, please contact King's Travel Sheffield first — most things can be resolved quickly. If you raise a chargeback with your bank for a service that was properly provided, the driver may pursue recovery of the amount through civil channels.
11. Data protection
King's Travel Sheffield processes the personal data you provide to fulfil your booking — see the Privacy Notice for details. FlightDeck operates the platform on the driver's behalf as a data processor.
12. Governing law
This contract is governed by the laws of England and Wales.
